Kairos Christian Academy uses the Accelerated Christian Education Curriculum. A.C.E. is an individualized, self-instructed, biblically based curriculum. For over forty five years, A.C.E. has helped schools all over the world. In this system, the student is placed at his/her academic ability rather than his/her chronological level. This is how we are able to provide an education that is individualized to each student. KCA focuses on Christian character training and outstanding academic accomplishments by its students.
Kairos Christian Academy has a Chapel service every Wednesday from 8:00 – 8:45 AM. All students must attend and participate in Chapel. Students must wear the proper uniform (See Uniform Policy). Students must bring their Bible to Chapel. Parents are welcome to attend.
Athletics and physical activity are integral parts of student life at Kairos Christian Academy. Our school strives to provide meaningful athletic activities that will instill a passion for lifelong health and wellness in our students.
Regional and International Student Conventions are week-long events organized by our curriculum provider, Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.). Convention gives students, ages thirteen and older, a chance to compete in categories such as music, speech/drama, athletics, arts, and academics against students from other A.C.E. schools.
Regional Convention, for our region, is held every March in Palacios, Texas. International Convention is held every May in a different US city, as determined by A.C.E..
At the end of the school year (May), KCA honors students that have demonstrated exceptional work.
Students that pass three tests in each subject, and recite the monthly Bible Verse each quarter will obtain Honor Roll. Honor Roll students will be presented with a certificate during our Chapel service, and will receive a special award.
